💞How and where did you first meet? And how long have you been together?
We met in London, Clapham on the dance floor, more than 3 and half years ago. I spotted her and she spotted me but nothing happened. Later on the evening I tapped her on the shoulder as said 'you're a really good dancer'. The rest is history and we have been together for 3 years.
📅And how did you propose?
I proposed in Egypt, Cairo in front of the pyramid of Giza. I managed to find a moment where we were completely alone and as she was taking photos of the pyramid, I got down on one knee and asked the question.
😎What was your inspiration behind the design, why choose the styles?
Creating the ring from scratch was daunting, fun and exciting. I had a world of emotions because I wanted to get it perfect, luckily Holts were amazing in helping me with this process. I knew I wanted a sapphire because her mother had one and she always admired her ring. The colour wasn't easy because I couldn't choose between blue or green and in the end I went down the middle with a teal. In terms of the ring, rose gold was unique and we both like rose gold so that was a no brainer. In terms of the style honestly, I was going for a classy Lord of the rings look lol.
💍How did you find the bespoke process and our services?
I found Holts through the internet randomly but when I visited the shop and was introduced to the bespoke package, I knew I made the right choice.
👀What was your favourite part of the process?
All of it, it takes time and dedication coming back and forth. It started to get exciting when the sapphire was picked because then you can play around with all sorts of ideas. If you make it fun and not a chore you release the stress from it.
🤔What would be your one piece of advice for couples looking for an engagement ring?
Choose something that represents you both, if you do that, then you are guaranteed to be united in picking the perfect ring.
