How and where did you first meet? How long have you been together?

We’ve met in the Netherlands, we were actually flatmates, we have moved there for our masters degree. We have been together 4.5 years.

Tell us about the proposal

It was in Kew Gardens. The sunny day and the fact that it was very intimate as I found a spot with not many people made it amazing. I gave Margaux the ring and we both were shaking from excitement!

What inspired the design of your engagement ring?

I loved the colour of the diamond. It was a particular one and I have never seen it before. I got it because it really reminded me of her eyes. The design is very simple and not “extra” but very very beautiful, which again reminded me of her.

What was your experience like creating your bespoke ring with us? 

Frankly it was amazing. Before you, I have been in other 4 stores and it was the first time where my requests were truly listened to. The way to take into consideration what the client wants is unmatched!

How did it feel seeing the finished ring for the first time?

I couldn’t have hoped for anything more beautiful. It was perfect!
