💞How and where did you first meet? And how long have you been together?
M&H: “We met in Berlin and have been together for 9 years.”
📅And how did you propose?
M&H: “It was a snowy day in lockdown and we decided to have yet another takeaway and he got down on one knee during the dinner!”
😎What was your inspiration behind the design, why choose the talon claws?
“Malte knew I wanted to pick my ring so we went on the diamond journey together. I wanted an elegant ring that goes with both gold and silver jewellery. I was keen on talon claws in platinum to make the diamond pop and the claws created a contemporary feel.”
💍Is this your first bespoke piece, and how did you find the process?
“I have created silver jewellery before but never something as significant as an engagement ring. It was overwhelming because there is so much choice and online shopping does not give you a realistic impression of how it'll look on your finger. Once I met with Marianne and talked about the process it made it less daunting and gave us the reassurance because I could look at the diamonds in the microscope and look at the ring designs in person.”
👀What was your favourite part of the process?
“The favourite part of the process was trying on all the beautiful rings and then seeing the finished product!”
🤔What would be your one piece of advice for couples looking for an engagement ring?
“Try on lots of different styles of rings because you may have a style in mind, but another style may actually suit you better in reality.”
