How and where did you first meet? And how long have you been together? 

"We met 4 years ago after matching on Hinge. Our first date was at the end of lockdown, before public places had reopened, so we met up in Battersea Park."

Tell us about your proposal, how did you propose?

"On our four year anniversary we went back to Battersea Park and in the same spot we'd had our first date, Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes and we swiftly opened a celebratory bottle of champagne!"

What was your inspiration behind your engagement ring?

"I've always been drawn to sapphires, initially because it's my birthstone but also because the different shades of blue are gorgeous and make a really elegant stone for a ring. When I tried on this particular sapphire in Holts it just felt right & I knew it was the perfect choice for me!"

How did you find the bespoke process and our services?

"The process was really easy, I booked an appointment with my sister to go and try on rings and work out exactly what I wanted. Simei was fantastic, so knowledgeable and very patient with me trying on every possible variation to work out all of the specifics! Once we'd finalised the design she sent me the mock up and I handed it over to Chris to sort out! We both really enjoyed the process and found everyone at Holts helpful and transparant."

What was your favourite part of the process?

"It's a toss up between trying on all the gorgeous rings to work out exactly what I wanted and the moment I got to put on my completed ring when Chris proposed!"
