"Holts Turned My Vision into a Real Design"

How and where did you first meet? And how long have you been together?

We met during the pandemic in 2020 and have been together for 5 years

And how did you propose?

He surprised me by taking me to a really beautiful, secluded beach in Sardinia to watch the sunset during our summer holidays. Since he loves taking photos, it didn’t seem unusual when he asked us to pose with the sunset once we got to the spot. But to my surprise, as we were smiling at the camera, he reached into his pocket and got down on one knee.

What was your inspiration behind your engagement rings?

He thought the teal sapphire was unique and that I deserved something just as unique to match my personality. He didn’t want the standard ring that everyone else had - he wanted me to feel proud every time I looked at my finger.

How did you find the bespoke process and our services? 

Excellent - Alicja was very skilled at turning my description into a real-life design and helping me make sense of what I was drawing. She was great at creating a custom piece that incorporated all my feedback and thoughts.

What was your favourite part of the process?

The ring design and mock-up.

What would be your one piece of advice for couples looking for an engagement ring?

Make sure it reflects your fiancée’s personality and that it’s something you’ll be proud to see her show off.
