💞How and where did you first meet? And how long have you been together?
T & m: 'We met in Secondary School when we studied Business Studies together. We have been together for 8 and a half years.'
📅And how did you propose?
M: 'We had a walk and picnic in Richmond Park. As we were going out for a fancy meal later that day he asked if I knew what jewellery I would be wearing. When I said I didn't know he replied "Why don't you wear this?" I turned around and he was on one knee holding the most perfect ring.'
😎What was your inspiration behind the design, why choose the styles?
T: 'Michelle's birth stone is Peridot and her favourite colour is green. Peridot is too soft for a ring so a green sapphire was the perfect alternative! We wanted the ring to look floral and nature inspired. The final ring is exactly that! The diamonds looks like leaves and are a nice detail.'
💍 How did you find the bespoke process and our services?
'Holts Gems was suggested by a family friend who is a gemologist and I'm so glad we took her advice!'
👀 What was your favourite part of the process?
'Seeing the finished ring for the first time was amazing! I was so excited to show my fiancée.'
🤔 What would be your one piece of advice for couples looking for an engagement ring?
'Always seek professional opinion. Also don't be afraid to use alternative stones that are more durable. The green sapphire looks exactly like a peridot but will last much longer.'
