Holts Help Raise £5,000 For The Lord Mayor's Charities

Holts are proud to have helped to raise £5,000 for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal after donating prizes, including a 0.5 carat diamond, to a charitable Dinner. The Fathers and Daughters, Mothers & Sons dinner was hosted by the Lord Mayor David Wootton on Tuesday 17th July at The Mansion House. Holts contributed two prizes to the black tie event, including a beautiful pair of Amethyst earrings designed by one of our very own Holts Academy students, and a stunning 0.5 carat diamond. To win the diamond, attendees were invited to take part in the 'Diamond Badge' game where they were asked to guess which of three badges was actually the Lord Mayor's real one, with one lucky winner taking the dazzling Holts' diamond home. Funds from the event will go towards The Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2012, ‘Fit for the Future’ which aims to promote better health opportunities for all, supporting those from some of the UK’s most deprived areas.
