The 100in100 campaign, for which Holts group CEO Jason Holt acted as spokesperson, came to a successful end on the 20th June with 122 pledges achieved in 100 days. The initiative, which aimed to encourage businesses to recruit 100 apprentices in 100 days, was deemed a success after 122 pledges were made from 52 businesses. Names that will be recruiting apprentices following the campaign include VolkerWessels UK, Starbucks and Grange Hotels UK. Speaking about the success, Jason said ‘I am delighted to be celebrating the finale of the Camden 100 in 100 campaign, the employer response has overwhelmed us all! I am pleased and proud that the campaign has created an incredible 122 vacancies for the young people of Camden. Apprenticeships are a great asset to any business but they are a door opener to new opportunities for young people.’ The campaign came to a close with a fitting finale at The Shaftesbury Avenue theatre, where guests received complimentary seats for the venue’s new show Burn the Floor.
