Delivery

There is free delivery for any item advertised online on this site. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery and all items are insured for your peace of mind.

Orders for Next Day Delivery must be placed before 1pm Monday – Thursday. Any orders placed after this time will be sent the next working day. Customers will be notified if items cannot be delivered immediately.

When an item is in stock, we can commit to next day delivery. For custom-made items, delivery can take approximately three weeks, depending on the design; delivery time is agreed and confirmed with the customer in writing at the time of the order. Customers will not be charged unless this delivery time is acceptable to them. Please allow an additional 2 days for the delivery of rings that require re-sizing.

For order collection at our London showroom, please notify us by email or telephone once you have placed your order online. We will contact you when your order is ready for collection.

Unfortunately we can only accept payments for cards registered to a UK address. We do take payments over the phone for orders outside the UK.

Reservation service

Since buying jewellery without seeing it first can sometimes be difficult, we offer you the option to reserve any item online for 5 workings days, and then come into our showroom at a time convenient to you to view it before purchasing. This service is provided at no extra cost to you, or obligation to buy the item if you decide it’s not for you!


Returns

Holts operates for items bought online an "If it is not to your taste then return it" policy, subject to the terms below. This means that you can simply return your jewellery for any reason* within 14 days of receipt. We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 14 days of initial receipt. International returns should be shipped within 14 days of receipt of order. Returns which are received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Holts.
 
*Holts will not accept returns for any items that have been worn or damaged. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received damaged, please notify us (by telephone or email) on the same day if you wish to return the item. We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before disposing of any original packaging.
 
In the event of a customer failing to return any item to us within the time limits stated, we reserve the right to charge any costs of recovery for the goods. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU). 


Returning a Bespoke Item

Bespoke items, i.e. items that we do not currently carry in stock, cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances. For more information, please call us on 020 7405 5286.


How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods


In the unlikely event that your item is faulty, it must be returned within 7 days. The items will be inspected, and any damage deemed to be a result of wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Where possible, items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees. It may be possible for us to repair items which have suffered wear and tear. There will be a charge for this service to cover delivery and any other costs incurred.


Receiving a refund
 
 
Refunds will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. The cost of any undamaged and unworn products correctly returned will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card, including sales taxes for all EU country shipments but excluding delivery charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
