Valuations

At Holts we have been dealing with stones and jewellery for over forty years. During this time we have had the pleasure of handling and dealing in a huge selection of materials and jewellery pieces. The experience and knowledge we have acquired through these years is available to you in our valuation and gem testing service.

Our valuation service will provide you with a detailed listing of the jewellery pieces with their descriptions and the values of the pieces for the purpose of insurance valuation.

Valuation fees start from a minimum of £23.50, but will vary depending on the items involved. An obligation free quote will be given in our showroom.

Gemstone Testing

Holts' professional gemstone testing service will give you peace of mind regarding the identity of your gemstone or mineral.

Our qualified Gemmologists will provide you with a certificate stating the type and variety of gem material and will also list all the physical characteristics of the piece such as weight and measurements. Charges for gem testing start at £47 per piece. Please contact us regarding prices on jewellery identification reports and prices on larger lots of loose gemstones.
