Aquamarine is the blue-green variety of the gemstone Beryl, which also includes the gemstones Morganite, Goshenite, Helidor and Emerald. It is typically found in large quantities in localities such as Brazil and is typically devoid of visible inclusions. The word Aquamarine is derived from the Latin word for ‘Aqua marina’ which translates as ‘Water of the Sea’.
